Philanthropy Awards Announced

(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation has announced the recipients of this year’s Awards in Philanthropy.

Patricia Welter and Patrick Henry will be receiving the Alex Didier Award in Philanthropy. Patricia devoted 35 years to education in the St. Cloud Area School District, serving in numerous leadership roles. Patrick Henry, a retired professor, author, and former executive director of the Collegeville Institute, has dedicated his career to fostering dialogue, community engagement, and philanthropy.

Cathy Juilfs will be presented with the Professional Award in Philanthropy recognizing the efforts of a professional advisor such as an attorney, accountant, financial planner, or other professional who has significantly contributed to philanthropy in the region. Yasin Alsaidi will recieve Social Trust Award recognizing the often-unsung hero of community building: the Weaver; an individual who is actively building social trust across the Greater St. Cloud community.
