Stearns County Narrows Search for Next County Administrator

(KNSI) — Stearns County is in the final stages of hiring its next county administrator, with a public reception and final interviews scheduled this week.

The Board of Commissioners is hosting a candidate reception with finalists tonight from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at The Park Event Center in Waite Park. Final interviews are set for Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the board room of the Stearns County Administration building in St. Cloud.

The county administrator is the top appointed position in county government, overseeing day-to-day operations. The county has not yet announced how many finalists are being considered or when a hiring decision is expected.
