Pop Up Splash Pad Coming to Whitney Sports Complex

(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Parks and Recreation Department has a way for families to beat the heat this weekend.

The St. Cloud Fire Department is hosting a free pop-up splash pad Saturday, July 11th at the Whitney Sports Complex. From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., kids and kids at heart can run through the spray of a fire hose, check out a fire truck and police car, and play lawn games with local first responders. The Whitney Sports Complex is located at the corner of Stockinger Drive and Forest Drive.

No pre-registration is required. Just bring a towel and dress in clothes that can get wet.

Next Friday, the Splash Pad Bubble Bath will be held at Eastman Park.
