(KNSI) – If your child wants to unlock their inner explorer, the Sauk Rapids-Rice Community Education Foundation has just what they need.
The foundation is hosting a 4-H Legacy Quest Day Camp at the Benton County Fairgrounds from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18. The event is open to kids in kindergarten through sixth grade.
At camp, kids will become Legacy Explorers who work together to compete in fun activities, such as an Escape Challenge and hands-on team missions that build teamwork and creativity. For fun, kids will navigate an obstacle course to protect a legendary egg, cross a lava field, or build the tallest Unity Tower using mystery supplies.
“Legacy Quest isn’t a history lesson,” the foundation said in a recent press release. “It’s a high-energy adventure where kids realize they can shape the future, starting right now. Adventure. Laughter. Teamwork. Legacy starts here.”
Those interested in registering their kids can do so here. Kids are encouraged to bring a bag lunch and a refillable water bottle.
