(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development has announced a new website for the state’s official online labor exchange. CareerForce.MN.gov will replace the previous website, MinnesotaWorks.net, and will feature more job-search resources with improved accessibility.
Among the features on the new website are a resume builder tool with storage, free job workshops and training opportunities, and the ability to search thousands of jobs from vetted Minnesota employers, with no ads or sponsored posts. Employers will be able to post open positions free of charge.
DEED first announced the website change after two years of stakeholder discussions and feedback gathering. Funding for the transition came from the Minnesota Legislature during the 2023 session as part of a one-time $10 million appropriation for DEED workforce digital transformation projects. DEED and the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership provided additional investments.
