(KNSI) – A 60-year-old Little Falls man was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer on Highway 10 near Royalton.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says the crash was reported at approximately 1:34 a.m. on June 10th, on Highway 10 near 83rd Street, about three miles north of Royalton in Bellevue Township.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man was traveling north on Highway 10 when his motorcycle hit the deer. He was rushed to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls by Mayo Clinic Ambulance. The extent of his injuries was not released.
