(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is getting ready to roll out a free mobile app the agency says will make it easier for residents to report and keep up with what is happening in their community.
According to the sheriff’s office, the app will let users submit tips quickly and securely, pull up safety resources, follow local news and events, and contact the agency directly from a phone.
The Sheriff’s Office says the tool is part of a broader effort around transparency, accessibility and keeping residents safe.
An official release date and download links have not yet been announced. The agency says those details are coming soon.
