(KNSI) – The city of Sauk Rapids is ready to open the books on last year’s finances.

At Tuesday’s meeting, the city council will take a closer look at how taxpayer dollars were spent in the previous year. The analysis will cover a wide range of areas, including revenues and expenditures from the city’s General Fund, and whether those figures have increased or decreased.

Also on the agenda is the state of the city’s Water, Sewer and Storm Water funds. The council will also address whether any difficulties were encountered in compiling the financial information for review.

The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, at the Sauk Rapids Government Center.
