(KNSI) – Stearns County Elections Supervisor Roxanne Gerads has been recognized with the Minnesota Excellence in Elections Award for her nearly three decades of work administering elections in central Minnesota.
Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon presented the honor, which was established in 2025 to recognize election professionals across the state who demonstrate exceptional service, leadership, and innovation in election administration.
Gerads has served Stearns County for 27 years. During that time, she has overseen elections through significant changes in technology, population growth, and evolving state and federal requirements. The county credits her with providing leadership and guidance to city and township election officials throughout the region.
Her nomination cited her attention to detail and her work walking local government partners through every stage of the election process, from public notices and training to Election Day operations.
