(KNSI) – Benton County is asking residents to help shape the future of road safety in the county.

The county is developing a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Plan, an action plan designed to guide roadway safety strategies and improvement projects based on data and public input. County officials say the plan is meant to make streets and roads safer for everyone, whether they drive, walk, bike, roll, or take transit.

Once the plan is finalized, Benton County will prioritize projects and work to secure funding to make them a reality.

Residents can give their two cents by completing the SS4A survey and exploring an interactive web map by clicking here.

More information is also available on the Benton County website.
