(KNSI) – An event aimed at bridging the gap between the justice system and successful community reintegration from prison back into society is making its debut in St. Cloud.
The Reentry Summit 2026: Second Chances, From Confinement to Contribution will be held Wednesday, April 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Mississippi Room at the Great River Regional Library. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
The inaugural summit is sponsored by Overcomers International Fellowship (OIF) Dream Center, a St. Cloud nonprofit with a nearly 30-year history of helping men transition out of incarceration, homelessness and other life challenges.
The event will center on a panel of seven professionals from the region’s social services, corrections and counseling sectors. The panel format will include time for audience questions, and following the formal program, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with experts in one-on-one conversations.
The OIF Dream Center, located at 529 16th Avenue North in St. Cloud, has served more than 14,000 men since 1995 through structured housing, meals and mentoring. The organization works with individuals who are formerly incarcerated, homeless veterans, or those dealing with mental illness, chemical dependency, learning disabilities or other barriers to stable living.
Those interested in attending or learning more about the Reentry Summit can contact OIF Dream Center Executive Director Pastor Michael Laidlaw at 320-493-1328 or visit DreamCenterStCloud.org.
