Break-Ins Reported at Church, Businesses in Morrison County Under Investigation

(KNSI) – The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of burglaries reported Friday morning at three locations, including a church.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the break-ins targeted St. Michael’s Catholic Church and Sunrise Ag in Buckman, as well as Thomas Welding and Machine in Lastrup. Investigators believe the incidents occurred sometime between 10:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26th, and 8:00 a.m. Friday, March 27th.

At this time, it is not known whether anything was taken from any of the locations.

Authorities are asking residents in the area to check any available security or surveillance cameras for suspicious activity during that timeframe. Anyone who witnessed unusual behavior or has information related to the incidents is asked to contact the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office at 320-632-9233.

The investigation is ongoing.
