St. Cloud No Kings Rally Saturday Among Thousands Nationwide

(KNSI) – Thousands are expected to gather outside the St. Cloud Regional Library this Saturday for the No Kings rally, the latest in a series of demonstrations organized by Americans for Democracy.

The rally runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 1300 West St. Germain Street and is billed as a family-friendly event. Organizers hope to draw up to 10,000 participants, surpassing previous No Kings turnouts in St. Cloud, the site of the third-largest rallies in the state.

The event will feature live music, a drumline, and broad community participation. Organizers describe it as an opportunity to show opposition to the current presidential administration.

Americans for Democracy has been active in the St. Cloud area for over a year. The group helped organize an anti-ICE rally on January 11th that drew more than 3,000 people, and has staged previous No Kings events locally on March 8th, June 14th, and July 19th of 2025.
St. Cloud’s event is one of dozens of synchronized No Kings marches happening across Minnesota Saturday, and one of more than 3,000 scheduled nationwide.

The marquee event in the state is in St. Paul, where organizers are anticipating up to 100,000 attendees at the state Capitol. Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Maggie Rogers, and Jane Fonda are all scheduled to appear. Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her are also expected to speak.

Protests in St. Paul begin at noon at three locations: Harriet Island, St. Paul College, and Western Sculpture Park, before marching to the Capitol.
