Back in the Neighborhood, House of Pizza Reopens in Sartell After Two-Year Hiatus

(KNSI) – House of Pizza makes a triumphant return to Sartell after reopening its doors this week.

After a two-year absence, House of Pizza has returned to the city by setting up shop inside Coborn’s Marketplace at 1725 Pine Cone Road South. The full-service restaurant offers in-store dining, take-out, and delivery, serving many of the same menu items from its previous location.

The original Sartell store, situated in an adjacent strip mall, closed in 2024. Owner Brandon Testa says the partnership with Coborn’s felt like a natural fit. The two businesses have been neighbors along Pine Cone Road for 21 years.

Word of the return first broke in August when House of Pizza posted on Facebook: “BIG NEWS Sartell – The HOUSE is coming back in 2026. Your support and loyalty didn’t go unnoticed. We felt it every day, and our commitment to the community never stopped, even when we were apart.”

The brand has deep roots in Central Minnesota. House of Pizza was founded in 1964 by Chicago native Bob Testa as a quaint pizza and soda shop on 5th Avenue in downtown St. Cloud. His signature thin-crust pizza quickly earned a loyal following, and the brand has remained a staple of the Central Minnesota community ever since. While the original downtown location closed, the pizzeria’s St. Cloud location has been operating at 4040 Second Street South since 2020.
