(KNSI) – The 59th annual Central Minnesota Farm Show takes root at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud.
The free two-day show runs 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, drawing an expected 3,500 visitors from across Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska. With over 150 exhibitors and 270 booths already sold out, it’s shaping up to be a bumper crop of an event.
Beyond the packed trade floor, the Sustainable Farming Association is presenting educational sessions covering topics from conservation grazing and cover crops to estate planning and homesteading.
Tuesday’s lineup includes a deep dive into one family dairy’s reinvention story and a session on increasing farm diversity with hogs, while Wednesday covers topics like battling invasive buckthorn and maximizing profits on a small diversified farm.
The show also has roots in the community beyond the convention floor. Since 1998, it has funded more than $110,000 in scholarships for Central Minnesota students pursuing careers in agriculture. This year’s winners will be announced on February 25th.
Additional details and the full speaker schedule are available through the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce.
