(KNSI) – Embrace winter in central Minnesota by seeing the county’s scenic beauty during the 2026 Stearns Nordic Ski Sampler.
The parks department and the Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota are putting on the event throughout February. The sampler encourages people to enjoy the great outdoors by using the local cross-country ski trails at Quarry Park, Warner Lake Park, Mississippi River Park, and Kreamer Lake-Wildwood Park.
For each trip, participants can register their name for a prize drawing. Ski all four parks or join the ski club for a bonus entry. The winner can glide away with a free Quarry Park parking pass, a Revolution Cycle, Ski or Fitzharris Ski & Sport gift card, or maple syrup from Wildwood Ranch.
