(KNSI) – Macy’s announced Thursday it will close its Crossroads Center location at 4101 West Division Street in St. Cloud, making it one of 14 stores nationwide shutting down as the retailer continues its turnaround plan.
The closure comes as Macy’s works to shrink its national footprint while investing more heavily in its strongest-performing locations. The department store chain first announced in February 2024 that it would close 150 stores, roughly a third of its locations, by the end of 2026.
Clearance sales at the St. Cloud location are expected to begin in mid-January and run for approximately 10 weeks. The store is expected to close during the first quarter of 2026.
In addition to St. Cloud, the latest round of closures includes stores in 10 other states. Macy’s closed 66 stores in 2025 as part of the ongoing restructuring effort.
