(KNSI) — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory that is in effect from 9:00 p.m. tonight through noon Tuesday for parts of central Minnesota.
The National Weather Service is forecasting freezing rain with ice accumulations up to one-tenth of an inch. The advisory includes Benton, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Morrison, Sherburne, and Stearns counties.
Travel could be difficult, especially during Tuesday morning’s commute. Drivers should plan for extra time and use caution on the roads.
