Lane Closures Hit Stretch of Veterans Drive in St. Cloud

(KNSI) – It’s a new year, but a familiar work zone will be affected by lane closures this week in St. Cloud.

Starting on Monday, the inside lanes of 8th Street North/Veterans Drive in both directions will be shut down to allow for utility work between 26th and 31st Avenues. The area saw lane shifts and other traffic changes several times throughout 2025.

The project is expected to last for the week, weather permitting. The forecast calls for high temperatures in the mid-30s most of the week. Some freezing rain is possible on Monday night and Tuesday, but the chance never exceeds 40%.

Officials ask drivers to use caution while traveling in the work area.
