(KNSI) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation has released its list of construction projects for the 2021 season.
More than 200 projects were announced Wednesday. They include several around central Minnesota.
The widening of Interstate 94 between Maple Grove and Clearwater continues this year. I-94 is reduced to a single lane in both directions Sundays from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. and Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. nightly between Highway 25 in Monticello and Highway 24 in Clearwater.
I-94 between Maple Grove and Clearwater is undergoing three years of improvements and upgrades along a 39-mile stretch of road. Crews will add travel lanes, rebuild bridges, construct access lanes, improve drainage, add an interchange, and resurface deteriorating pavement.
