(KNSI) – New Year’s Day is changing schedules for St. Cloud garbage and recycling crews this week.
Residents in the Hester Park neighborhood, all areas above 13th Street North, the VA Medical Center, Apollo High School, and the northwestern part of the city usually have to drag their waste bins down to the curb on Thursday. That will switch to early next week because of the holiday. A map of the region affected is here.
The Blue Recycle Route for Thursdays is also affected. It covers the same territory as the garbage run, except that it stops at the Sauk River. The Municipal Athletic Complex and the nearby industrial park is as far west as the zone goes. The city alternates between the green and blue routes each week.
Anything missed this Thursday will be made up on Monday, January 5th.
