(KNSI) – Three area veterans organizations are sharing over $21,000 raised at an August “Tee It Up for the Troops” golf fundraiser.

Organizers have selected the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans in St. Cloud, St. Cloud Recovery Community Network, and Quiet Oaks Hospice. The assistance council’s primary mission is to end veteran homelessness. The recovery community network helps veterans dealing with substance use disorder. Quiet Oaks Hospice offers a special program that provides hospice care to veterans in need of financial assistance.

Tee It Up for the Troops Co-Chair Bob Corley says, “The St. Cloud area is fortunate to have many resources for helping military veterans, and our committee has been honored to support a variety of them with grants over the years. This year’s recipients are excellent organizations.” The other half of the total raised is earmarked for the national Tee It Up for the Troops organization, which is based in Burnsville.

Tee It Up’s 2026 outing is scheduled for Monday, August 31st, at St. Cloud Country Club.
