(KNSI) – The Jolly Trolley has wrapped up another successful year of holiday giving, collecting $3,038 in cash donations and 9,211 pounds of food to support local families in need.
The donations will benefit three local food shelves, including Catholic Charities Emergency Services, Promise Neighborhood of Central Minnesota, and St. Cloud Area Salvation Army.
The Jolly Trolley made nightly stops at area grocery stores throughout the week, where countless individuals contributed to the cause.
Over its 15-year history, the Jolly Trolley has helped feed families with more than 43 tons of non-perishable food items and with nearly $40,000 collected.
