(KNSI) – A 48-year-old Sauk Rapids man has died following a crash Thursday night.

According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Department, Bradley Thoennes was heading north on Mayhew Lake Road in a Nissan Altima and was attempting to make a left turn to go west on 15th Street Northeast when he was T-boned by a Ford F-150. The pickup was driven by a 43-year-old man from Foley who was driving south on Mayhew Lake Road.

Thoennes was rushed to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died. The other driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment. His injuries were not specified, but are not life-threatening. His passenger, a 32-year-old man from Cold Spring, was not hurt.

The Sauk Rapids Police and Fire Departments, the Minnesota State Patrol and Mayo Ambulance all assisted on scene.
