(KNSI) – Traffic along 5th Avenue South near downtown St. Cloud will operate under a lane shift next week, according to the City Engineer’s Office.
The change is part of a lengthy utility project near the First Presbyterian Church, which is being transformed into a drug rehab facility. The lane shift will affect the area between 3rd Street South and Ramsey Place from Monday, December 8th, to Friday, December 12th.
While the lane shift is in effect, no parking is allowed on the road. Pizza Hut, Firehouse Subs, Insomnia Cookies, and more tend to see a steady stream of vehicles pulling in and out of spots in front of their stores. Parking is available in the back, but it is shared with the apartment complex.
The construction is weather-dependent.
