(KNSI) – The signal light at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and East St. Germain Street has been switched to a four-way stop for the rest of Friday to facilitate road construction in the area.
It will be set to blink red while resurfacing work is underway. Officials with the City Engineer’s Office admit the setting will likely cause delays. Drivers are asked to be cautious when traveling through the area.
For those looking for a detour, they should use Highway 23 about a block away.
