(KNSI) – Developers have broken ground on the Wyndham Garden Hotel that will bring 86 guest rooms to Sartell’s growing healthcare corridor.
The ceremony was held on Friday at 1201 LeSauk Drive. City officials, investors, and development partners marked the start of construction on the estimated $14.8 million project.
St. Cloud-based developers Inventure Properties have teamed up with Rod Lindquist of ETC Enterprises Inc. on the project, which received support from the City of Sartell and the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation through economic incentive packages.
The property’s standout feature will be an indoor-outdoor garden concept with dedicated zones designed for guests to “play, chill, and think.”
Once operational, the hotel is projected to contribute more than $3 million annually to the local economy.
The hotel is set to open in the fall of 2026.
