(KNSI) — Police are investigating after gunfire struck the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud on Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called just after 2:00 to a report of shots fired in the area of 6th Avenue and 13th Street South. Investigators say approximately five shots were fired. While trying to determine the direction from where the bullets came, they noticed a second-floor window at the Herb was pierced by gunfire. No one was in the vicinity when it happened, and police say no one was injured. It also does not appear that the building was the primary target.
According to a press release, police believe it is not a random incident.
