St. Cloud Conversation On Race Scheduled for October

(KNSI) – The City of St. Cloud and several partnering organizations will hold its annual Conversation on Race: Our Voices, Our Stories event in October.

Scheduled for Tuesday, the 14th, at St. Cloud Technical and Community College, doors will open at 5:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the community. Organizers have arranged for food from various area cultures to be on hand. Children and adults are all welcome. Interpreters will help ensure everyone can understand what is being talked about and contribute to the dialogue.

Create CommUNITY is based in St. Cloud, branching off from a past task force known as the Mayor’s Racial Harmony Team. The group has grown into a regional organization. It helps put on the MLK Breakfast each January, among other events.
