(KNSI) – Deputies are asking the public’s help as they look for those behind a break-in at the Ripley One Stop, near Camp Ripley.

A burglar alarm went off around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday at the gas station on the corner of Highway 115 and Grouse Road in Green Prairie Township.

According to the investigators, officers arrived and found that a window on the store’s east side had been taken out. Deputies later entered the gas station, where staff pointed out that some vape canisters were out of place. Officials say the suspects may have been on bicycles, wearing dark clothing and masks.

A K9 unit was able to pick up the scent and tracked them south of the business through yards and down gravel roads between Grouse Road and Ginger Road just north of Little Falls.

The sheriff’s office is asking people in the area to check their surveillance cameras and report seeing anything suspicious to 320-632-9233.
