St. Cloud Federal Credit Union Being Celebrated by U.S. Small Business Administration

(KNSI) – A local credit union is being shown some love by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is one of 10 Minnesota lenders being honored by the SBA at a conference on September 25th. The award is due to the percentage of loans underwritten by SCFCU that assist smaller companies.

Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Chase Larson says, “Small businesses are at the heart of our communities, and we’re proud that our SBA lending efforts are making a real difference.” He adds, “This recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication to helping members achieve their goals.”

The credit union’s business and commercial lending division has a portfolio of loans totaling over $60 million. It is a rapidly growing part of the company’s overall operations.
