(KNSI) – “It’s Now or Never” for Elvis fans as the final Summertime by George concert has been rescheduled, and organizers are saying “thank you, thank you very much” for your patience.
The Rotary Club of St. Cloud has announced that Anthony Shore’s Elvis tribute show will now take the stage on Tuesday, September 2nd. Shore has been nothing but a “Hound Dog” for Elvis music since receiving his first record of The King at age three. By 16, he was already “Hunka Hunka Burning Love” on professional stages across Europe, and moved to the United States in 2011.
This internationally touring performer isn’t just another “Heartbreak Hotel” act. Shore has entertained sold-out crowds from Spain to London, and his All-Star Band, complete with horn and string sections, ensures every show is “A Little Less Conversation” and a lot more action.
The evening promises to be anything but an “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” affair. Opening act Andy Austin will warm up the crowd at 5:00 p.m., followed by Shore’s main performance at 6:30 p.m. The concert will conclude at 8:30 p.m.
Organizers say people won’t feel left “In the Ghetto” of disappointment.
Shore was originally set to play SBG on June 25th, but that show was canceled due to rain. Last week, Rotary announced they were adding a show due to popular demand.
