Final Days of Voting in Stearns County District 4 Special Primary

(KNSI) – A special primary election for Stearns County Commissioner District 4 is in the final days.

There are still plenty of options for voters to cast their ballot, either on Election Day proper or this weekend. Extended hours are planned at the Stearns County Service Center on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is open on Monday until 5:00 as well.

Polling places will be open in Waite Park and parts of St. Cloud on Election Day proper from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. District 4 includes a couple of precincts in Ward 1 of St. Cloud and seven precincts in Ward 4. Four precincts in Waite Park are included.

The special election is needed due to the retirement of Leigh Lenzmeier earlier this year. The primary will narrow the field of candidates from six to two. They will run in the general election decided the first Tuesday in November.
