(KNSI) – Farmers from across Minnesota are once again descending on Redwood County to talk all things ag.

Farmfest runs through Thursday, featuring a variety of exhibitors and programming highlighting innovations in seeds and technology. Nearly every topic is covered, from how artificial intelligence is impacting farming to proper inheritance and succession planning.

The event is family-friendly with several kids’ activities, including a pedal pull. A music and entertainment tent will have acts playing throughout each day. A skid steer rodeo is held each afternoon.

On Wednesday, the Governor’s Task Force on Broadband will host an open meeting at Minnesota Farmfest. Members are encouraged to participate to improve efforts to hook up rural homes with high-speed internet. On Thursday, the event wraps up in grand fashion as it crowns the University of Minnesota Farm Family of the Year.
