(KNSI) — The Minnesota State Fair’s Brewed in Minnesota exhibit is set to return to the Agriculture-Horticulture building, bringing together the largest collection of Minnesota craft beer under one roof.
The showcase will feature products from more than 85 Minnesota craft breweries and brewpubs, including three from central Minnesota, offering fairgoers the chance to sample from over 200 different brews. Central Minnesota will be represented by Lupulin Brewing in Big Lake, Goat Ridge Brewing in New London and Intuition Brewing in Willmar.
Among this year’s highlights is the debut of the Award Winners Flight, featuring winners from the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild’s past five Brewers Cup blind-taste test competitions. The top suds are considered the most true-to-style in the state by trained beer judges. It is a way for fairgoers to sample examples of classic, traditional, and popular styles.
The exhibit offers special discounts for Opening Day, Seniors Day, and Military Appreciation Day. The Minnesota State Fair runs today through Labor Day, September 1st.
