(KNSI) – Nonprofit organizations across the region looking for help with upkeep face a Friday deadline to get a helping hand from the United Way of Central Minnesota during its annual Days of Caring.

Jake Judd/KNSI News

The campaign is central Minnesota’s largest coordinated volunteer effort, bringing together community members and local nonprofits through hands-on service projects. Organizations can get help with painting, landscaping, yard work, administrative tasks, or even virtual projects that volunteers can complete remotely. Past projects have included facility maintenance, outdoor beautification, data entry, and specialized virtual assistance that doesn’t require in-person presence.

Organizations interested in getting a team of volunteers to help must register by 11:59 PM on August 1st. The work will be done from September 15th through the 19th.

Nonprofits can submit their projects online or contact Mary Krippner directly at mkrippner@unitedwayhelps.org or (320) 223-7991.
