(KNSI) – Powder Ridge is amping up the fun for its August “Party on the Patio!” event to fight through the dog days of summer.
In addition to the usual live music performance, outdoor bar and food, and meat raffle, organizers have some extra activities planned. There will be a drinks only line to help quicken service. Free face painting will be a hit with the kids. The cherry on top is $1 root beer floats served up in a souvenir cup.
“Party on the Patio!” is free. While there is plenty of outdoor furniture set up at the top of the hill in Kimball, guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. The summer series takes place on the first Wednesday of the month in June, July, August, and September. Each “Party on the Patio!” lasts from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
