(KNSI) – The suds will be sublime as the City of St. Cloud hosts a pair of Splash Pad Bubble Bash and foam parties this summer.
The first is July 18th at Haws Park on the southside. Recreation Programmer Cassie Woischke says organizers have been meticulous in planning the events. The splash pad will have a kids’ DJ set up, bringing the family-friendly energy. Music and games will be played amidst the bubbles. Woischke writes that the soap is eco- and allergen-friendly.
AirMaxx is setting up an inflatable slide with the Southside Boys and Girls Club running a craft table. The St. Cloud Police Department will open up a squad vehicle to let the little ones crawl around in. Yard games are also on tap. No registration is required, but Woischke suggests bringing clothing appropriate for getting wet. Towels are a good idea too.
Papa Murphy’s Pizza and Jupiter Moon are contracted to have food trucks at the event, which runs from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. A meal is the only thing participants will need to pay for.
A second bubble bash is slated for August.
