(KNSI) – St. Cloud’s annual Granite City Days summer celebration runs Thursday through Sunday, featuring four days of community events, entertainment, and family activities.

The festival gets underway on June 26th, with the 52nd annual Lemonade Art Fair at St. Cloud State University starting at 11:00 a.m. The opening ceremonies start at 7:00 p.m. at SCSU’s Ritsche Auditorium, where the 2025 Rock On Awards will be presented. The awards go to people who go above and beyond to make St. Cloud a better place to live. This year’s winners are Rick and Helga Bauerly, Donella Westphal, the Rotary Club of St. Cloud, and the Great River Children’s Museum.

The celebration continues Friday with the Granite City Days Park and Rock at Lake George/Eastman Park from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for an evening of music, food, and family fun. Kids can climb aboard big rigs and emergency vehicles during the touch-a-truck. There’s also a petting zoo, a kids’ zone and plenty of vendors.

Saturday brings with it the highlight event with the Granite City Days Parade. Floats and bands step off at 10:00 a.m., proceeding through downtown St. Cloud. It starts near Hester Park and makes its way down 6th Avenue North to West St. Germain Street, and finishes at the St. Cloud Public Library. The focus then shifts to the Downtown Patio Party with boutique sales, a farmers market, fun games, entertainment, and restaurant specials. Saturday will also feature the Panstock Cookout and Concert starting at noon. A slew of events are at Pantown Brewing, including a classic car show, free food (while supplies last), yard games, and ice cream.

The festival wraps up Sunday with the 7th annual Fred Yiran African Arts Day at the Lake George Municipal Complex. African traditions will be on display with live drumming, dance, storytelling, and art. Visitors can experience a vibrant celebration that honors his legacy and showcases the beauty of African heritage.
