(KNSI) – The City of St. Cloud has announced a series of road closures due to special summer events.
The Granite City Days Parade is this Saturday. All streets along the parade route and staging area are shut down between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. That includes West St. Germain from 6th Avenue North to 14th Avenue North, 6th Avenue North between West St. Germain and 12th Street North, and 7th and 8th Avenues North starting at 7th Street and running to 12th Street.
This Friday is Park and Rock at Eastman Park, scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. 7th Street South will be closed from 12th Avenue South to 10th Avenue, also known as East Lake Boulevard.
The city also reminds drivers about Summertime by George, which shuts down 12th Avenue from 2nd Street South to 7th Street South and 7th Street South between 12th Avenue and East Lake Boulevard. There are seven concerts left this year. The stage lights up this Wednesday, July 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th, and August 6th and 13th.
