(KNSI) — Lincoln Avenue Southeast is getting a makeover.
Starting Monday, June 23rd, the stretch between 4th Street Southeast and 7th Street Southeast will be closed to through traffic for a major improvement project that, assuming Mother Nature cooperates, is expected to wrap up by late October.
Those who live, work, or shop in the area can still get where they need to go. Officials say to expect some changes and ask drivers to keep an eye out for new entrance routes and road signs along the way.
The city will have detour signs posted.
