(KNSI) – A pair of country music heavyweights will do the two-step together for the first time, pulling their rodeo into Waite Park on September 25th.
Tracy Lawrence and Josh Turner are co-headlining a tour set to take over The Ledge Amphitheater this fall. Lawrence was a breakout star on country radio for most of the 90s and early 2000s. He has 13 million albums sold to his name, with 18 singles that reached the top of the chart.
Lawrence brings a traditional Nashville sound with his guitar case as he belts out classics like “Time Marches On,” “Alibis,” and his collaboration with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney, “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.” Lawrence also has a honkytonk side to him, coming out in albums like “Renegades, Rebels, and Rogues.”
Josh Turner broke out with a duet featuring Willie Nelson in 2001. “Long Black Train” highlighted his rumbling baritone voice and gospel sensibilities. Turner would go on to rack up huge hits with “Would You Go With Me and “Your Man” in the mid-2000s. Turner has sold over six million albums.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com.
