(KNSI) — The Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation marked a record of giving by awarding more than $54,500 in grants during the 2024-2025 school year.

The foundation was able to support 25 programs, including starting up a physical education disc golf curriculum, Children’s Theatre Production, buying a 3D printer, a parts tumbler to deburr metal for shop class and board games and puzzles for special education classes.

Since 2005, approximately $522,000 in grants have been awarded within the district for approximately 300 projects.

A press release says the independent, non-profit organization embraces the goals of District 748 and provides funds for programs within the district and scholarships to graduating seniors.
