(KNSI) – Powder Ridge is looking to keep the music going even though skiing is in the offseason.

Party on the Patio is a monthly event series, the first Wednesday of June through September, filled with live music and food and drinks from an outdoor bar. The opener is June 4th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with MoeDeLL picking the strings. The Virginia songwriter is known for his acoustic guitar and Americana lyrics.

The concerts come with perks for ski pass holders. They qualify for 10% off food and drinks, although anyone can attend. The events are free and family-friendly, with no preregistration required. Powder Ridge says plenty of seating is available on site, but people are allowed to bring their own lawn chairs.

Coolers will be turned away, though. Organizers also recommend looking at the forecast before you leave, as visitors should make sure they are dressed appropriately for the conditions. In case of rain, it can be moved inside.

More information about Party on the Patio can be found here.
