(KNSI) – Summer is just around the corner, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota are rolling out a lineup of free activities to keep teens engaged while school is out.
The four club locations across St. Cloud and Waite Park each have their own programming, ensuring teens can find activities that match their passions. Sports and Physical Activities take center stage with soccer camps at multiple locations, basketball camps, and a dance sampler camp.
For those who prefer digital competition, esports tournaments and dedicated gaming sessions like “Fortnite Fridays” are scheduled. Teens can explore photography through excursions to Munsinger Gardens and the Twin Cities Arboretum, learn woodworking in dedicated shop time, try their hand at theater, or dive into STEM labs and camps.
Life skills and career preparation round out the offerings with workforce development programs, money management workshops, and unique opportunities like trying out a professional trucking simulator during National Logistics Day.
Each location serves meals throughout the day, including morning snacks and a late lunch.
All four club locations operate Monday through Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m. during the summer. Registration information and summer schedules are available by clicking here.
