Coborn’s Family Foundation Launches $1 Million Challenge to Support Catholic Community School Capital Campaign

(KNSI) – The Coborn’s Family Foundation is giving the Catholic Community School Capital Campaign a big boost by launching the Million Dollar Challenge.

Between now and May 30th, the foundation will match every dollar donated up to $500,000, for a possible total of $1 million.

In February, CCS began the “Deeply Rooted, Growing Stronger” campaign to raise $6 million over the next three years. The money will be used to retire $4 million of the remaining $5 million in debt on the St. Cloud Cathedral High School Expansion. Another $1 million would be used to replace the HVAC system at Cathedral High and Middle School, and the final $1 million would be used to improve the system’s five elementary schools.
