(KNSI) – A big honor for Stearns County Engineer Jodi Teich as she’s been named the 2025 Urban County Engineer of the Year by the National Association of County Engineers.
The Stearns County Board of Commissioners recognized her accomplishments during Monday’s meeting. The award honors her outstanding leadership and innovation in public works. Teich’s decades of service include leading the Minnesota County Engineers Association and the Minnesota Transportation Alliance, and she’s made her mark as the first female officer in MCEA’s history.
Teich has not only built roads and bridges, she’s also built careers-mentoring young engineers and speaking at schools and colleges across the state.
Teich (holding the black plaque) was unanimously nominated by the Minnesota County Engineers Association. The award was presented at the annual NACE Conference in Chicago.
