(KNSI) — The City of St. Cloud is inviting the public to attend the swearing-in ceremony of its new city administrator.

Public Works Director Tracy Hodel is gearing up for her new role after she received unanimous support from the city council last month. As city administrator, Hodel will oversee St. Cloud’s day-to-day operations and help implement the policies and priorities set by the mayor and city council.

She will take the oath of office from Mayor Jake Anderson on Monday, May 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. Cookies and refreshments will be provided.

Hodel has led the city’s public works department, the largest in the city, with 135 staff members. The department has been recognized nationally and globally for its innovative work in wastewater treatment, particularly in sustainability and energy.
