(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man is accused of running an illegal marijuana grow operation from his house and possessing hallucinogenic mushrooms.
On Thursday afternoon, the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in the 1600 block of 10th Avenue Southeast. According to a press release, they located 23 marijuana plants in different stages of growth. They also allegedly confiscated six pounds of marijuana flower, two and a half pounds of marijuana concentrate, and a felony-level amount of Psilocybin mushrooms. Investigators say they also found six guns and cash believed to have come from drug sales.
Minnesota law allows a person to grow up to eight plants, with no more than four budding at any time. Residents are also barred from possessing more than two pounds of marijuana flower.
A 36-year-old living in the home was arrested and is facing multiple drug charges. KNSI has a policy of not identifying suspects until they are formally charged.
