St. Cloud Public Safety Meeting Called for Thursday Evening

(KNSI) – The new St. Cloud mayor is making public safety a priority early on in his term.

The city has set up a town hall at the St. Cloud Police Department on Thursday, focused exclusively on the subject. It is scheduled to last from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Jake Anderson put out a public notice last month about the event, inviting St. Cloud residents and those who work in the city to what he has termed an important conversation on enhancing community safety. The St. Cloud Police Department will be joined by the St. Cloud Fire Department and public health officials for the town hall. The release promises attendees a chance to “discuss key issues and initiatives” with local officials.

The St. Cloud Police Department is located at 101 11th Avenue North on the western end of downtown, not far from the library.
